Can i hijack this thread abit and ask for something else

lately, i've been thinking really hard and i think i'm pretty serious about getting a pair of custom.

1st thing...i'm a cheap bast@rd and comparatively getting an impression done in kl is economically cheaper than getting one done in sg

was wondering if anybody knows wats the price of getting an impression done in kl? or maybe i should pay jaben network a visit... confuse confuse rclxub.gif

Jaben has lots. Everything you can think off. Senn, Alessandro, Shure, ER, UM, Westone, icute etc.
As for impression you gotta contact him.

hmm after crawling through head-fi
there's no review or impression on them yet. guess i'll wait for whichever comes first

omg, western 3 sound very promising, if i were you, i might wait for it, but after u addicted to ETY signature, u still can accept others?
*
yeah the buzz around headphonehaven was that it's coming out in Q1
ur spot on about getting used to ETY signature. if the ety is not lost, i might just half-heartedly play around with getting a new iem idea.
Now i'm without a workhorse iem, i guess it's good time to look around for one. my current choice is

- triple.fi 10
- westone 3
- livewire

all of these features 2 or 3 drivers compare to ety, who knows? it might open up my world biggrin.gif

A user, loontay, bought a triple.fi.10. Maybe you can ask his impressions.
*
I'm pretty read up most of the triple.fi materials. and i did an audition for the e420 it's dual drivers IMO is pretty different experience altogether from the ety.

so a triple.fi or westone 3? damn! damn! damn! rclxub.gif

walabies, does the triple.fi support tri-flanges like ety? i dig those biggrin.gif
shure ones dont give a good seal... either taht or i'm noob with those designs.

uhhh.... i'm bringing up the customs topic again.

- livewires
- superfreq

somehow superfreq is bang for buck. cheaper than livewires and triple drivers. the downside is it's a new player and impressions are just starting to roll in.

livewires more reviews, more impressions. can get a rough idea how the sq is like. it's a dual driver and costs abit more compare to superfreq.
word on the vine, there's a triple driver coming out or something better... can someone link some info on this.. i've been digging around their website couldn't find anything.

question: dive for superfreq or holdout for livewires ?
