Hello, I was thinking of getting a set of Grado, SR60 perhaps as that's the only budget that I have. I know Grado is a good brand of headphone, but I was wondering, how good is it? I've used several earphones/headphones but I just can't seem to differentiate what's good or what's bad. the music still sounds the same to me I'm planning to use it with my iPod. please advise. thanks!

QUOTE(walabies @ Nov 5 2007, 06:55 PM) Your bottleneck is your Ipod. Ipod doesn't produce nice musics. And I guess you are using 128kbps aac. Which is worst. If you have time I can teach you how to perfect your music listening experience. does it mean that no matter how good a headphone is, and if I'm using it with iPod, it won't be 'really' good? sure, please guide me to the world of darkness, I have too much of free time now. hehe

QUOTE(mikelanding @ Nov 5 2007, 11:04 PM) Added on November 5, 2007, 11:14 pmSource is important. So to improve yr listening plesure U should: 1) Convert/download/obtain all yr music into lossless format such as Flac, Alac(apple lossless), APE or even 320kpbs mp3 (not recommended) 2) if use PC, use foobar2000 to play all yr music file. I know winamp is easy and widely use, but foobar2000 offer more in term of quality of music file it played. I said this because I been using winamp for since start use pc. Only recently change to foobar200 and I am impress by it. I regret all this year listen to crappy music play from winamp. 3) if budget allow and ipod is yr only DAP, maybe U can invest in modding yr ipod using Gmod. A forumer here is providing such a service at a reasonable price.. Anyway, Happy !! too bad most of my mp3s are already 128kbps where do you guys get your music? burnt from CDs? instead of asking the same question that has been asked before, could anyone guide me to some good websites or anything to learn more about this stuff? would really appreciate it.
