I like what I saw for the specifications for the Philips HP2500. I think I shall acquire that model.

Any recommendations as to which shop sells it at a competitive price?

HP2500 can get anywhere actually... even shops like HSL etc etc should have them...

as for hiss... cant remember...havent used them in over a year

but i guess its cheap enough to not burn a hole in ur wallet just to give it a try

Currently, the previous headphone I got for my father was the Sennheiser HD515. It was good enough for movies and music but the ear muffler thing spoiled on both sides. That's why I'm planning to get another headset. Anyway the HD515 sucks. If I knew, I'd rather add extra money and get HD 555 or HD600.

Personally I feel for music, I'd rather use my Etys er6i.

Now I'm looking for something lightweight, flexible, and comfortable.

As for brand and performance, I am currently giving thoughts to Sennheiser RS120, it's a wireless headphone. I've read reviews, and seems not too bad but users have complained about hissing sounds and stuff.

Other than that, what about you? I'm considering Grado SR60 but it feels kinda wrong getting that headset just to watch movie.

I believe headphones that cost above RM350 all should sound good enough for movie and music. What I'm looking for is real comfort.

HD555 has more potential after amping. If you are preparing to get an amp, try the 555.

mind to share any decent amp that go well with hd555? notworthy.gif

What would you guys recommend for a pair of in-ear earphones for the budget of rm250-rm450 perhaps...
would actually consider going a little over budget for something with a better
price vs performance ratio smile.gif

your PC or laptop or LCD or CRT monitor in front of U generate more radiation that the punny headphone..LOL..
If U really scare of that, I suggest get far far away from any electronic devices and U live in deep forest/hutan....j/k j/k tongue.gif
