Basically it's about reprogramming the mind, training the brain for specific combination of frequency such as beta, alpha, theta, delta, gamma, epsilon, lambda etc... Also subliminally influencing the mind through inaudible suggestion.

Keywords are clarity, seperation, wide frequency response (goes way beyond normal hearing range upward and downward), do not distort, and of course, comfortable.

Well, what headphone suits this purpose? Open can, close can, iem, anything goes... Any form factor is okay...

ER4p, iM716 is very analytical, clear but according to the product specification the frequency response is quite poor... not more than 17khz if I'm not mistaken... So some useful and beneficial frequency is lost, I suppose.

maybe sennheiser mid to hi end is suitable for this? What do you think.

I need some recomendations on Sennheiser headphones. Easy to drive as I don't want to bring along an amplifier. It has to be Sennheiser only. Is the Hd555 a good choice. Budget is not more than RM600

Okie.. Headphone doesn't have to 'support' EAX, EAX is a feature offer by the soundcard, and yes, x-fi support EAX5.0. It enhance the sound effect in gaming.. You just need to plug your headphone in, as headphone only plays the sound that is produced by the soundcard.

I guess senn 280 is good enough. Is it?

not sure about kose, but if koss, I think only the ksc75, ksc55 and the porta pro is quite good. All of them are headphones though..

Haha..I think itz called Koss now that i remember it..Anyway,if Sennheiser get those cheaper versions would it be good coz my earphones suk..Itz the iPod earphones btw..
