Well, I prefer vocal, classical or jazz type of music....especially like Celine Dion, Josh Groban...violin music, kitaro drum.....bethoven musical....for relaxation...I don't like rock or noisy type of music

For movie, I prefer clean vocal and sometimes bassy also for the oooohm.....

I learn about open or closed type.....I prefer comfortable for long usage

So....what type of headphone do you recommend? Price range from 200 to 500....

shuffle? my old 512mb shuffle oni hv abt 80 songs wit all OK qualities..bt its enuf for me for portable since il alwaz meet up wit my pc probably-daily so i can change d songs if i wan to do so..

but seems like u goin portable a lot mayb u can get a ipod classic 80-120GB let u hear until ur ears bored u stil hvnt fin d playlist~

hi, i've been wanting to know "how good is good" for quite a while now, so i think it's about time to satisfy my curiousity

- i'll be using them for my ipod touch only
- prefer IEM
- i listen to stuff like gatecrasher, vitas, system of a down, 陈绮贞, 张悬, mchotdog, 2raumwohnung, eric clapton, george michael, blabla...
- as a beginner i'd cap my budget @rm300 for starters...but so long i'm convinced...

using 3rd gen nano, 8 gig. i have too much music! ): and no money to buy the ipod classic, haha. i had a 1 gig shuffle also. good times (:

i bought shp2700 for rm 75 in sri computer, lowyat 2nd floor. Maybe you can give it a try

Compared to my SHP805,no doubt that the bass is much tighter (assume that you applied the amp together.In this case I use pa2v2 amp) but I feel the sound is kinda "flat".Good thing is that it's more comfy then SHP805.So yeah I manage to spend a lot of time wearing this while burning in the phone without much difficulties

But too bad I'm more on vocal so I sell the can 3 weeks after since I dun use it that much :<

well good recommandation you have there but I'm more to headphones.Now ordering Senn HD555 since I wanna try to listen to the sound signature that HD555 has.

(Head-fi members mostly suggest poeple to get HD595/HD580 instead.If only the price difference is not that high enough  *sigh* )

tight bass i would say, not super boomy type, just nice IMO. Pleasant sounding for a rm 75 headphone 

Hi guys, this thread is super long, sorry if I've missed out some recommendations.

I'm about to replace my current ipod headphones and I'm looking for one below the price of RM200.

I don't know the right technical words for the headphones but I want one that fits directly into the earlobes, not the standard headphone shape. and also one that I can blast my music and still not audible to the people around me.

actually this earphone is for my friend's birthday gift

and why is everyone suggesting me those kind of earbuds? isnt there any traditional earphone which cost around that amount and works great with the ipod?

the KOSS looks great, but is it portable? i did saw sony selling these kind of earphones that the wires can be easily kept, as in twist it in the earphone

more suggestions please, and can somebody tell me why is it these days earphones are IEM? i heard there's a lot of disadvantages about it like air cant flow into ears, cant hear sounds around you in case of an emergency and stuffs

KOSS KSC-75 is quite hard to find, the only person doing the bulk here is jiaxun, and he has closed the thread until Bulk 7 is complete, which could be in 2 weeks time. but if u managed to find it in retail shops, do let all of us here know
