Unifi lite will be upgraded from 10Mbps to 100Mbps. Just downgrade your current package, simple. Pretty sure most people would be more than happy with 100Mbps.

those with better/recently upgraded infra will get the speed upgrade imo, like me who lives in area even if i sub 8mbps but unifi lite not available don't think will get 2x 8mbps. T_T

I am still salty about how those that were on 50Mbps were offered to pay only RM10 more to upgrade to 100Mbps.

Those that are on the highest plan since the beginning like me get fked, having to pay almost RM50 more each month for the same plan

Unfii advance can downgrade to lite? How much is lite by the way? I am happy with 100mbps.. 500mbps is overkill...

seem ur problem is not port but the infra at ur area is old.. u don need new port if u want to upgrade to 8Mbps but new infra.

I just checked the upgrade eligibility. If you are using Streamyx 8mb and no unifi coverage then you are not eligible because TM can't offer higher speed. Useless upgrade program.

TODAY, my Unifi died on me.

I thought my present speed of 50Mbps was going to 500.

BUT instead, it DIED.

Expected Date for Upgrades : January – June 2019

mine still spinning.

Chances for any stimix to get free upgrade is slim, VERY SLIM....
There's forever the limited port for higher speed and 8mbps is a rare species too...

I hope the minister pressure TM to lower the prices for all stimix since the price to speed ratio is ridiculous.

Yeah, the timing sucks. But only been using unifi from November last year, so I don't mind giving way to those who have been using longer.

My streamyx also eligble. But it's weird, unifi only got notification. Streamyx has a "upgrade me now" option. Then asked for when to upgrade and if want to keep number. Same as everyone else?

those who bising want lower price, stop dreaming la. U know how expensive is it or not for TM to lay the infrastructure. there is a reason why TIME don't do landed property. The return of investment is just too low.

secondly, the CEO need to report to the Board of Directors. If they lower the price, their revenue suffer, all share holder panic and sell share. whole company will face problem.

Considering our government investment (our tax paid) in TM fiber deployment as well like since 2012 until today........don't you think we deserve a lower price?
