Hi all. Few days ago my Dell Inspiron N4050 could not boot nor post. There is no dell logo, but hdd light is on, processor fan spins, led got backlight. Just cannot post.

I tried removing hdd, change cmos battery, swapping ram slots and using 1 ram only, but still cannot post. Anyone face similar problem before?

No beep or error code or anything. LED got backlit and I suspect it dint boot because even when connect to external monitor still no display. And when I press power button it instantly shuts down. No need to hold the power button. Bring to shop how they debug is which component spoil?

Just clean them with eraser/rubber in case of static charge. Got few times I personally experience this. But normally got beep sound. Not sure your case here.
Anyway try insert them at different slot, one by one. Hope it helps.
