- Iron
etc

Back to quality and advantages of the system. To break it down:

- Manufactured on Taiwan, highest quality "big blue" housing, better quality than Pentek
- Low pressure drop (usually only 1-2 psi when system is clean, more as system becomes clogged)
- Oil filled pressure gauges to monitor filter condition, shows when you need to wash/change the cartridge
- Low operational cost
- Ease of maintenance
- No backwash required
- Equivalent of 3M AP902 system for 1/2 of the price and 1/3 of the price of replacement cartridge
- Double o-ring design for ease of sealing (current huge issue of Pentek housing is that it is very hard to seal, requires tons of grease)

Feel free to challenge me, ask me any questions, voice concerns etc. I will reply them with all honesty.

How to wash this? Any video?

Just use water spray or need to brush? Will it be too much hassle compared to back wash....

So sorry, missed your message. Yes, just spray with good pressure from garden hose, no need to brush. It is a bit more involved than backwash for sure, but it is only done once every 6-12 months, unlike backwash which is almost every week or every second week, and it should take you about 10-20 minutes max. Also, media backwashable filters are 40 microns at best, this cartridge filter is 5 microns. Unfortunately cartridge filters are not backwashable. I know that there are few companies that claim that you can backwash, but it's not true, by backwashing a cartridge it gets damaged.

Will PM you. Condo usually requires wall hacking though, unless have access to pipes already or can install at the meter.

Friends, thank you so much for the support! We are currently out of stock for 20" version, trying to get it in ASAP. Will run a promotion for 10" meanwhile. Sorry for inconvenience, this is our first Nov-Dec sales season and we simply did not expect such a great support and so many orders from our customers.

Any good plumber should be able to install. I recommend 20" for landed and 10" for condo. Price difference is minimal, but cleaning cycle for 20" is much longer.

Will also PM you.

It is PoE, so if your current PoE is doing the job well, no point to switch, rather invest that money into quality PoU. Any PoE has limitations by design and you gotta have right expectations, please read more about it here https://frescatec.com/poe-explanation/

Though it is in my interest to make a sale, I would not recommend to change media PoE to cartridge PoE just "for fun". Yes, you will get 5 micron vs 20-40 micron, but rather wait for media filter to stop performing, then the change would be justified.

Yes, usually media will last for 3 years and then require a change. So in that case, you can check our PoE+PoU packages (if you need PoU of course) and see if it makes sense to replace. Compare it to the price of changing media in your PoE, I honestly have no idea how much that costs...

Hi,

I'm currently using a media POE rocket type filter for the last 13 years for my landed house. I'm looking for a POE filter replacement system but I have a few questions:

1. Will the cartridge be easily clogged with dirt? How often to clean the cartridge based on your customer experience so far? Every time I backwash my current POE filter, the water that came out is like Kopi O Kaw.

2. How long can a cartridge last before replacement and how much is the replacement cost?

3. How much is the 20" outside cartridge filter only as I don't need the indoor filters?

Appreciate your feedback. Thanks

Thank you for your interest!

1. Cartridge will clog eventually, it is washable though. Cleaning required every 4-12 months, depending on water quality. Most customers do not touch it for first 6 months.

2. Depending on the water quality, you are looking at 1.5-3 years. Replacement is 175RM for 20".

3. Price is 700 for 20", plus installation cost which is 300-350 in Klang valley depending on your location. Price is also mentioned in the first post, maybe it is not so obvious since it is shadowed by PoE+PoU promotion, sorry about that.

Hope that helps, you can also contact me on Whatsapp 0103120403 if required.

Hi, in condo we usually install in the meter room, either 10" or 20" version, whichever fits. Price is the same for the set of PoU+PoE, depending on which PoU you choose.

If PoU that you choose is Fresca Lite, Fresca Disruptor or Aquaphor, then safe to drink from the special water tap.

Thanks!

Hi Hestati,

Is it possible the 10' POE able to install below my kitchen sink ? I just need clean water for my kitchen tap and washing machine.
My condo forbits installing beside my water meter inside the room.

For now i only thought that the 3M mini POE is the only solution for my current situation until i saw your FRESCA POE which might give me another great considerations.

Any plumbers can you recommend to provide installations including hacking my under sink wall too ?

Thanks smile.gif

Please contact me by Whatsapp at 0103120403 so we can discuss why your current PoE is not doing the job. You can install mini PoE under the sink, but first we gotta check if it will be really advantage or just waste of money.

Depends if your management allows to install in meter room, it is the easiest. If not, then maybe you have exposed pipes inside your unit. 3rd option is to hack the wall, which is possible, but I rarely can recommend it.
