Any good plumber should be able to install. I recommend 20" for landed and 10" for condo. Price difference is minimal, but cleaning cycle for 20" is much longer.

Will also PM you.

I'm currently using the traditional outdoor media filter. Is this system better?

It is PoE, so if your current PoE is doing the job well, no point to switch, rather invest that money into quality PoU. Any PoE has limitations by design and you gotta have right expectations, please read more about it here https://frescatec.com/poe-explanation/

Though it is in my interest to make a sale, I would not recommend to change media PoE to cartridge PoE just "for fun". Yes, you will get 5 micron vs 20-40 micron, but rather wait for media filter to stop performing, then the change would be justified.

Thanks for the explanation. I've been using the POE for like 3 years. Didnt change the media at all so far. That's why when I saw your post, I thought maybe this would b a better system. Haha

Yes, usually media will last for 3 years and then require a change. So in that case, you can check our PoE+PoU packages (if you need PoU of course) and see if it makes sense to replace. Compare it to the price of changing media in your PoE, I honestly have no idea how much that costs...

Hi,

I'm currently using a media POE rocket type filter for the last 13 years for my landed house. I'm looking for a POE filter replacement system but I have a few questions:

1. Will the cartridge be easily clogged with dirt? How often to clean the cartridge based on your customer experience so far? Every time I backwash my current POE filter, the water that came out is like Kopi O Kaw.

2. How long can a cartridge last before replacement and how much is the replacement cost?

3. How much is the 20" outside cartridge filter only as I don't need the indoor filters?

Appreciate your feedback. Thanks

Thank you for your interest!

1. Cartridge will clog eventually, it is washable though. Cleaning required every 4-12 months, depending on water quality. Most customers do not touch it for first 6 months.

2. Depending on the water quality, you are looking at 1.5-3 years. Replacement is 175RM for 20".

3. Price is 700 for 20", plus installation cost which is 300-350 in Klang valley depending on your location. Price is also mentioned in the first post, maybe it is not so obvious since it is shadowed by PoE+PoU promotion, sorry about that.

Hope that helps, you can also contact me on Whatsapp 0103120403 if required.

Hi, in condo we usually install in the meter room, either 10" or 20" version, whichever fits. Price is the same for the set of PoU+PoE, depending on which PoU you choose.

If PoU that you choose is Fresca Lite, Fresca Disruptor or Aquaphor, then safe to drink from the special water tap.

Thanks!

Hi, it is standard 1" inlet and outlet. Can be reduced by reducer to 1/2" or 3/4", depending on what is used in your house.
