No idea about cheap and good. Alignment cost rm15 to 20. Balancing Rm5 each wheel.

still can get rm 5 balancing?notice most shop charged rm8-10 already per pc.

Try S One Tyres & Sport Rims in Setia Alam, they're one fo the cheapest with tire prices and only charge rm20 for wheel alignment.

is balancing and rotate same?

rotate is just changing the position of the tyres.suggest do balancing when rotate because usually rotate the position of tyres are different already can caused the balancing lari.

is it necessary to do rotation? the shop advise to do every i think 20k km?

do rotation got pros and cons.all 4 tyre botak almost same times then u need to change 4 at a time.but i think tyre can slightly use longer.if didnt rotate usually change 2 at a time

For those who looking for alignment and balancing tyre shop, avoid this irresponsible boss. he blamed on my tyre pressure. i said i cannot accepted, if it is underflated tyre, it should eat at both edges not just outer edge for both tyre as shown in picture. If it is overflated tyre, the middle of tyre should worn out faster than edges.
This case is only happened to my Aveo not Mazda 3, both car had been there for balancing and alignment since 2016 (Mazda 3) and 2017 for Aveo. At that time, the tyre shop was called DB something. Since not related to DB, so i don't want to put full name here. He was the one who did my car for past 1-2 years.

At the end, he blamed on my lower arm and etc, all these will cause tyre worn out unbalancing. I told him my car lower arm changed in last few years, now only worn out one sided, make sense or not.

My habit for balancing and alignment and rotate tyre is every 10,000km.

I forget to tell him: how you assure your machine is accurate? Did you calibrated the machine? Did you have calibration report to prove your machine is 100% accurate?



This is the odometer reading when I reached home. It is less than 5000 km the last he did the alignment stuff.

The best part is that he claimed this worn out thingy was happened before, I said if it is happened before, it is your fault too because you did it previously.

sum cars have inherent tyre eating problems.. my wifeys jazz eats de inside of each tyre even thou u rotate .. but Tis is like 30k km la..

No its the other way around, should toe-in a bit if inner side is wearing out faster. If the outer side is worn off then toe-out a bit.

my car didn't have this problem in past 10 years (tuned by someone in Sungai besi). To be more specific, this is the first time I faced this issue. He claimed he got 20 years of experience, so what, stupid lousy skilled.

Yes, such shops with camber bolt thing are still around ............
and such tyre shops and camber bolt things are genuine and not fake as often claimed here.

Not claiming there is no 'cheating' tyre shop though.

I bought camber bolts at additional charges for my Avanza, and it works as intended. No fake here.
