my rt-86u on the way from china, this router need extra plug@adapter to turn it on? first time buying electrical from tmall. thanks for yr help

need advise about the power for 86u, asus give me ac adaptor input 100-240v 1A 50-60hz output 19v 1.74A, this adaptor cannot turn on my router. so i change to my asus notebook adapter 100-240V 1.5A 50-60Hz output 19V 3.42A.
