3rd party seller? or Asus Flagship store?

I rather pay more to buy from flagship store.

Any diff flagship store & 3rd party sellers?
I noticed few of them (3rd party) do have good reputation

Did you know the ratings on taobao can be purchased and manipulated?

The good thing about flagship store is they carry the products legitimately from Asus.

3rd party, you don't know where they got the source even they claim its from Asus.

Yeah.I noticed that reputation can be bought/manipulated.
If the differential sum is not that significant, I still will opt for the cheaper version, if significant diff between 2 product, i will play safe to go for expensive seller

Cross finger, so far no issue with my purchase from taobao

If you compared their tracking system on the parcel delivery, our local courier company no way near them.

D't know when Malaysia can have such tracking system.....

i should mention, the ac68U will only do 300Mb/s in malaysia at best (gotta add pppoe and vlan) while the AC86U will do 500+Mb/s because the CPUs in them are very very different generations and have different hardware in them. The AC68U does not have actual hardware acceleration that other routers have and broadcom was late in coming out with CPUs with hardware processing for NAT and other things.

Yeah...me too not running at full speed of 500mbps for AC68, just 489mbps

Just curious to ask, do AC86 really need that 2 cooling fan? I am currently using AC68 while waiting my AC86, I have been always turn on that router for 24/7, no big issue so far

I just changed my LAN cable from BTU/ONU to router (CAT5E to CAT6) but the speedtest drop from the initiall 480mbps to 350mbps, I did change back to the original CAT5E but the speed still not convincing enough

May I know, after i change any LAN cable, any setting shall i update into the router?
