You meant ac86u? No need to wait till 11.11 sales sometime can get at RMB799. You just need to monitor from time to time. For RMB799 with best voucher if you lucky enough to get ie RMB100, then final will be RMB699 only.

RMB 849 not call Sale to me. Lol..... Well my info was last year. This year price may increase but should not increase so much. Their standard price usually above RMB900. Once a month difference seller will give offer with free usb fans.

Is it still worth it to get RT-AC68U from China considering ASUS selling it at RM779 nowadays with 3 years one to one exchange warranty. hmm.gif

Wow, I guess the only concern is warranty and minor WiFi band differences.

I already sapu like 4 units of AC86U over the course of the last few months from tmall. All have been attached with cooling fans. Couldn’t be happier with this router.

Cheapest I got was 829 RMB and most expensive was 849 RMB.

Yesss. AiMesh ftw. Whole house strong 5ghz network WiFi. Running them in pairs in a wired AiMesh setup at two different locations.

I’ll probably get another 2 in the near future for my parents house. The oldest 2 units has been running for close to 4 months and totally no issues at all. Haven’t even needed to off or reset the routers once and signals remain as strong/stable and connection speeds remain as fast since day 1. Really no complaints at all.

noob question...

when you say wired aimesh, means wired between both routers or wired from router to device ?

I think wired means using ethernet backhaul between routers

Yes, exactly what firdausbhari mentioned.

But to answer your question wired ethernet connection connecting both routers.

ok...noted

but can Aimesh be connected via wireless between 2 routers ?

because in my case...if i can connect cable between 2 routers (1 downstairs + 1 upstairs), i might as well connect my desktop (upstairs) via LAN directly

haha....

hi wanna ask a noob question, for all your china router, you just plug on international adapter or you get a local power cable for the router?

for time fibre set up should be relatively easier and dont need need to select the iptv right?

Thanks so much in advance

You will get a China 2-pin adapter. You still can use the same charger locally because it have the same voltage rating. Just use a traver adapter to adapt the 2-pin
