What I checked is there is no confirmation on the date yet. Apple is still working on some sort of approval.

I checked with the Machines staff.

According to them, when Macbook launches in US, it will take about one to two months to reach to our shores... (talking about the long waiting period... *gulp*)

That's not the case for the newly launch Macbook Air (with True Tone) - one week after initial launch in US

So what is, one month? Still long geh...

macbook pro 2019 base model 128gb is RM 5,499.00. already got price shown on apple website.

2015 macbook pro is selling at its cheapest price ever. that time one can own a macbook pro at lowest price. becos that time apple hd not yet updated the price due to exchange rate and that time got no GST yet.

no such thing la. rumour is for 16" not for 13". 13" has been all updated this year. impossible to get any upgrade. if u plan to get 13-inch, now it is the time to get especially the 13-inch base model is very value for money now.

again it is rumour after all. if it is 16-inch a brand new design I may think it is possible. For 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air to get refreshed again in just three months time it is totally unlikely. dun see the reason for Apple to do that. dun think Apple will be stoopig to make a refresh now to have one more new variant of MacBook Pro for inventory management while September to have another one. totally not economical or sensible decision if u ask me.

Bolehland Apple does not have this programme all the while.

bolehland has always been a forgotten market for Apple I would say. from the fact that bolehland is always in the last few lists for any new product launch supply can tell. think the number of Apple users in bolehland is actually significantly lesser users which I believe it is quite true. in bolehland I notice most people are using android phones instead of iPhones. This could be linked to the high selling price of iPhones.

lion city actually has similar retail price for Apple products but they are more affordable to general public. good example is iphone. An iPhone with contract in lion city only cost few hundreds with a 2 year mobile contract of monthly sgd50++ as compared to buying at retail price of close to sgd2k. As a contrast, buying a iphone in bolehland with contract has not much subsidy which most people are buying the iPhone itself at retail price which it is very expensive.

I'm in d dilemma of choosing between 8GB RAM or 16GB RAM...

What are the requirements of choosing 16GB RAM over 8GB RAM?

Keep looking over the U tube video reviews doesn't much help...

O.o

If u do video editing or running virtual machines, yes, go for 16gb.

else, 8gb is also enough.

but for future proof, 16gb will be a plus after all.
