Hey guys,

My Honda City 2014 E almost reach 50k mileage liao, rear tyres almost botak,i think its time to change.
I believe my Ori rim size are 175/65R15.
Been doing some research,Michelin XM2 seems like everyone go to tyre, but are they any better option?
I'm looking for the quietest and reliable 1,budget under RM 1k for 4 tyres.

Also this is my 1st time change tyre,if front tyres still got like around 50% 'flower',can trade in or not?

Edit: Doing another research, seems like XM2 outdated,oops...Heard Continental CC6 good? can't find any info on this tyre, does it fit 175/65R15? also what's the price?

Recommend you to go for CC6 for a soft, quiet and comfort ride.

If you're looking for comfort, cc6 is your best choice. Using it on my myvi. It should be available for your size. My tyre size 195/55/15. Got it for rm175 early last year.

There is also another alternative. Switching to 185/60r15. But its also a dilemma for me. Been using xm2 for 4 years.

better stay with 185 for honda city e/s spec rim.. 5.5jj rim not recommend to fit in 195... is like you have size 8 feet and you wearing size 10 shoe.. feel it..

width-er tires is good.. but also have to match with correct size of rim... best configuration is tires side wall and rim are flat.. if you fitting oversize tires.. you will see your tires side wall convex shape which is not good...

Currently on 175/65/15 & planning 195/55/15. Having the same concern because of the 5.5jj as well.

Anyone had real life experience with 195/55/15 5.5jj ? Mind sharing?

Fitted a few on my customer e-spec rim before, no problem on driving, just sore eye because the tyre look bulges out than the rim 🙈.

Recommendations - change rim to 6.5/7JJ then fit 195/55/15, else stick to 175/65/15 or 185/60/15.

Rim recommendation - Advanti Storm S1/S2/S5 or S6 (All Flow Form Light Weighted Rim <4.6KG), Spec 4x100, 15x7JJ ET35. #supportoriginal #nofakeshit

CC6 is the best money can buy for 175/65/15 & 185/60/15?

Say if money is not an issue/don't mind to change annually?

Bridgestone EP300, just changed 2pcs for my sister's Hubby H.City also same size 175/65/R15.
Included all alignment, balancing, quoted around RM185/pcs.
No complain so far and the owner is quite satisfied with the comfort & silent.
