I want to ask y’all oppinions about the Kawasaki Ninja 150 RR. I’m very interested with this bike and am looking forward into buying this bike. Is it a good bike? I’m going to use it for a fun ride and a long ride as I’m gonna travel from Ipoh to Melaka and back to Ipoh at least once a month. Is there gonna be a problem? Is the maintenance expensive? Is it still reliable in 2018?

well ninja look like mat rempit, my brother have it, he say maintenance is expense because it 2 stroke engine. 2 stroke use heavyly and need change moto oil every month depend on your uses.

before this he uses r25, and lc135 1st endition and motor cross. he fav is lc3 because cheap maintenance.

speed R25 almost same like ninja but ninja more 10kmh only. but ninja not very stable because ninja very light compare with r25. for short people, ninja is good for them cause you leg can get down.

All I can say is, if you like it (some people love 2 stroke motorcycle), you buy it. And if you buy it, don't simply park it anywhere. It's a hot stuff if you know what I mean.

Tapauing.. the ZZR's going up to bukit tinggi track.... ah those good old days...

If want to be more evil, put few drops of Minyak Kapak into the 2T reservoir

If you are planning to find something for heavy duty use, suggest you go for Honda RS150 or Yamaha Y15ZR..fuel injection and liquid cooled. Less headache and easy to maintain without the 2T oil.

I will only buy Kawasaki Ninja 150 RR as a leisure bike for city ride..

Yeah this thing is like the hottest chick in town and everybody wants to steal it. I read that there’s a lot of 2 strokes bike getting kidnapped already. I really have to spend extra bucks for the security tho. Hmzzz.

Will make the other rider behind u cry.....

Or...

Use the Cooking Oil from Coconut based .. (not palm oil or others) can be use as emergency substitute for your 2T oil.

Same lubrication function, just had more carbon created on your cylinder and piston. .. (normal for 2T engine service to clear off the carbon deposit on those parts)..

And a KFC aroma will be produced from your exhaust gas...

PS: its true story.. if you grew up with 2T engine will know abt this lifehack

2 stroke engine... i remember the 2t smell on my back, the carbon build up, the "jem panas" and the sound of the 2 stroke engine still lingering on my mind.

Back to the topic. Back then when I went to service my bike, there were two Ninja RR undergoing service. I didnt asked anything about it since I can do it later if I want to. Heads up for Retro mania event and the should be high chance to meet owners to get that first hand experience.
