Too many 'bodohness' here. What DotaTech did was illegal AND unethical. I give you an example, I wanna order from dototek and delivery say that I will get my shit in 1 week, made my payment online through a third party website, lazada which has a T&C that dototek can cancel their order as they wish which revised under law is not possible since consumer law is above T&C. So lazada already processes the order to dototek but then dototek realized their pricing is an error due to the GST so they cancelled my shit and let me know the day after I paid for my order. (I'm using both TS and DingDong's stories here so that it's unbiased).

Now my question is. Let's be kind and say I will get my refund soonest in a week time. If tomorrow suddenly what I wanted to buy the same shit but price hike like world gonna end then who gonna bear the cost?. If tomorrow suddenly a genuine seller or promo want to sell same shit for same or around the price but first come first serve or limited time then who gonna bear my loss?. Different if on the spot I get back my money then I can just back off but it's different when time comes into the picture.

Like this la pundek, u want buy house through a property agent so u pay full house price to the agent and then agent go see seller to seal the deal, suddenly owner say, eh the price not this la, higher because my stupid realtor didn't evaluate the property well...so the agent come say sorry the seller say the price house is higher because of bla bla reasons so we will refund back your money in 1 week time but pundek first of all, you fucking property agent and owner should fight or argue among yourself because that is your problem. The advertised price is there, and I made payment through proper channel so what shit u putar halim also no use and if tomorrow I find a better house for a lower price but all the money still not refunded back to me and someone else bought it who the fuck gonna bear the losses?.

What makes it worse, I got in touch with the owner and said that I've already made my payment and if you or the agent didn't evaluate the property well, how is that my concern?, then the owner says, no the agent fault for not checking properly so IDGAF, bye.

Moral of the story is, Of course, la I will write in social media and even go up to the tribunal to voice out my frustration.
