Hi guys ... actually I have posted the same question under Veracrypt software thread but I think not many people use that software. And I think maybe this problem also not related to the software but more like a Windows 10 copy and paste issue or something so hope to get some answers here

Recently read a little about encryption for safety so decided to try using VeraCrypt. Wondering if any other VeraCrypt users here? Being new and skeptical, i tried with some small volume and moving in and out small files first before decided to create a 40GB volume to move all my files inside. When I move my files in, I get 2 kinds of errors (not every single file but about 20 files like that? It's a mix of pdf, words and excel files):

1) There is not enough memory to complete this operation
2) Are you sure you want to move this file without its properties? The file xxx has properties that can't be moved to the new location.

I tried to google and cannot relate anything to Veracrypt. I emailed them but no reply. Doing a general search on those error, seems like it's a Windows issue and they suggest use 64bit but I'm already using Win10 64bit. Some other explanations are too complicated. Anyone here faced the same problem before?

Thanks in advance.

Used vercrypt before this. Once got the second error. The file format is .trs (for a transcriber application). Just continue with the operation, nothing breaks as the file is readable from the software.

You mean lets say it's a words file, it will change to .trs? but it's still readable ? If transfer out it will be back to words doc? I 1 shot moved many files so I also forget which 1 it is =.=

No no. The file that i was transferring is a .trs file. I guess there is some kind of meta properties that these kind of type of files that are not compatible with an encrypted storage file system. No problem to the files as its just some metadata or properties.

Sometime if I want to transfer video to my phone which is connected to pc via usb also prompt the same notification. But the video play just right without any errror.
