ligament tear (knee), ACL tear need advise

Hi all, anyone who experience ligament ACL tear?
i had MRI scan and Dr. has advise to do surgery on this. I been Desa Park Ramsay hospital and second opinion is KLSMC.
KLSMC has quote the surgery cost about 40k for taken self-tendon and additional 20k if taken from donor. so total cost would be around 60k.
however my insurance covered maximum about 30k. Would like to know what are the consequences of using self tendon vs others graft?
need help pls.

Is the same concept like organ donation. Ur body might reject the parts that doesn't belong to it. Why don't you ask the doctor what's the consequences of using self and others tendon? |
