Hi all,

Can anyone share your experience to me if you have a relative or your immediate family member did a pacemaker surgery before? How much it cost for the device now and the total fees for this surgery? The patient ( My dad)has no medical card and we might need to seek for other options beside IJN.

Er, the cost is below rm30k? But IJN told me RM60k. Thanks for your information.

My aunt, paid absolutely nothing due to her being a government pensioner. Else around 12k if done at government hospital

Maybe you can get second opinion at other hospitals.

Yes o. But UKM helped us to get the supplier and only purchase the device within rm15k.They can do this surgery

This was what paid for the pacemaker surgery of a close relative.
I know coz i was the one who paid it.

Different patient would have different health condition, so you can always go get the quotation that fit your condition.

It depends on the particular pacemaker.
My relative had this version installed.

Apologies as I'm also not sure how much the surgery costs but agak agak MYR20K around there (without complications).
