Apple TV IMO is great. Slightly better user experience than those cheap android box. Been using it for couple of years for streaming local content via Plex, and watching Netflix and Youtube. The only gripe that I could think of is the lack of native TVOS apps that caters for us malaysian, FTA app like RTM and from Media Prima and paid services like iflix, Astro Go, etc. Although it's not Apple's fault. And yes we can airplay some of this services via iOS or a Mac. But the lack of native TVOS support from local TV providers, makes the box feel a lil bit incomplete.

QUOTE(Super Maniam @ Jul 10 2018, 01:21 PM) Hi Guys, total apple tv noob question here. Do you think its possible to use the Apple TV 4k as a mobile workstation for light computing needs? Light computing in terms of media streaming and gaming from appstore, yes. But for productivity, not possible. TVOS is different from iOS. Only media streaming apps and games are avaialable in TVOS appstore. You're better off with an ipad for productivity in apple ecosystem. This post has been edited by pokjak: Jul 10 2018, 04:12 PM

QUOTE(dino89 @ Sep 28 2018, 05:29 PM) Apple TV dont have live channels from other countries? Like Taiwan etc For live tv you need to get/subscribe to an iptv m3u link and paste into apple TV app for example GSE app.
