Damn so problematic this router. Some people if lucky, it performs well. For me and others, it sucks.

I would rather have my current speed and half my bill price rather than have double speed but remain same bill price. At current 30mb, nak 60 mb pun no difference to me. Not playing games.

me too prefer discount on fee rather than double the speed

if you not into downloading or hardcore gamer

30Mbps is enough for streaming too

from the press can see that TM wan to remain the current revenue level, so that the big boss behind still can continue enjoy the big paid.
that is why only increase speed but not reduce price. even if there is reduction in price also TM will take away the free call/Hypptv to maintain reduce their cost so that can achieve same level of profit.

The problem with limiting this package to B40 is that TM normally doesn't want to extend their infrastructure to cover the areas where this demographic lives.

Maybe that's the tactic, say they want to target B40, but don't actually implement infrastructure. As a result, there's low demand for cheap packages. Then they still can profit from the expensive packages or those who have already subscribed at inflated prices earlier.

Sounds BS to me.

2. unifi ‘turbo’ plans offering more than double the current broadband speed. TM will gradually upgrade the speed for all its existing unifi customers at more than double the speed at no extra cost starting 15 August 2018, while new customers subscribing to existing unifi plans before 31 December 2018 will also be upgraded accordingly in 2019.

More than double the speed.

= 30 x 2 = 60 + More = 70 Mbps or 80Mbps.
