Ni Tok Madey dah jadi PM-7, rasa2nya ATSC ada can ke hidupkan balik pakej upgrade MiG-29N tu?

Bangladesh more likely choose China over other competitors. Their newest MBT is MBT-2000 VT-1A (aka Al-Khalid MBT used by Pakistan) and their upgraded Type-69 II MBTs also using Chinese upgrade package kits.

I think still for sure Bangladesh choose VT-5 Light Tank. Their Army is literally built up by China.

And sometimes its all about beggars can't be choosers too.

Get a truckload insider information (troop movement, SOF personnel, tribal militia leaders, etc etc) and later carry out specialised missions like assasination of Govt officials, commando personnels, Govt spies ... all far too effectively.

In 90% of ISIS hit & run assasination ops, they'd dressed as Special Ops Iraqi squad and armed with Iraqi issued weapons with legit ID and in either broad daylight or night carried out raids as if were legit ops by Iraqi Govt but actually targeted pro Govt targets. Most often the victims thought their would-be killers are regular Iraqi anti-terror forces before realising they are being duped.

That how frakked up and corrupt Iraqi security forces are. ISIS in Iraq are now returning to what their did best ie insurgency campaigns.

Well. We spend quite a lot already with 6 x LCS & 4 x LMS for the Navy, 6 x MH-6 Little Bird heli & 24 x M109 SPH arty, 20 x AV4 LipanBara HMAV & ongoing procurement of AV-8 Gempita IFV for the Army and Airbus A-400 transport plane for the Air Force.

Frankly speaking being a realistic in the wake of our nation "perceived" economic hardships, I'd thought atleast there's a way to get funding especially for the RMAF that seriously low on fighter assets. For eg, settle the logistical / maintenance issues with RMAF's Russian assets such as Su-30MKMs & by that, re-activating the MiG-29 fleet (limited to min 8 - 10 aircrafts) to address the numbers of hulls needed by RMAF for operational readiness up to 2026 - 2030 timeframe.

To further reduce cost, just upgrade the ubiquitous 4x4 Condor APCs, Sibmas IFVs and FV101 Scorpion recce vehicle for the Army. Navy well, its 15 to 5 Navy Transformation Plan already taken care of.

Hopefully Mat Sabu take notice for 2020 Belanjawan.

Different from PT-91. In Polish service, PT-91 replaced ALL T-72s in Polish MBT regiments even when Leo 2 entered service with Poland. Not only that, PT-91 improvements led modernization of legacy T-72s in East Europe even in India atleast on par with PT-91.

Hell, Malaysia by using PT-91 led to SG and Indo to buy Leo-2.

While soldiers' welfare oso paramount, so did getting new military hardwares. If kenot buy in bulk, then buy in stages. Just like what Indon did ... slowly expanding their Sukhoi fleet and topup their F-16s with secondhand procurement here and there.

If we can't buy off the shelves shiny new toys, then 2nd-hand military hardwares came into play. Beggars can't be choosers.
