That is why i said it will use locally made BMS contrary to what you said that it didn't have a network centric. Lol.

You were talking about situational awareness because what FNSS referred to as a situational awareness is the drivers camera.

Mission Equipment

• 360⁰ Situational Awareness
• Wireless Crew Intercom System
• Navigation System
• Auxiliary Power Unit
• Interior & Exterior Lighting System
• Battlefield Management System (BMS)
• Laser Warning System (LWS)

Nope i'm not misleading. You were quoting my post about a  plan IFV variant development based from the design of the FNSS/Pindad Medium Tank by Pindad. I'm talking about a dedicated tank design from the drawing board and just because the manufacturer want to develop an IFV variant based from that design you want to call it just an IFV/APC variant. Lol. The Merkava-Namer is a good example aswell with the T-55- Achzarit.

Rubbish..it is a dedicated ifv/apc tat was modified to carry a 105mm cannon. Which dedicated mbt has so large/high
a front tat says - please hit me. In comparison, please see how ifcs/apcs look. At 30ton plus weightage, your dedicated tank claim design is simply rubbish and marketing gibberish.

No. I am not talking about frontal and back cameras found on modern cars. Tat said, the Mpf has i dunno..8 to 9 cameras.

Tell me more about your battlefield management system...

So why do you need Fnss's assistance if it is so easy to build and own?
Lets see..if the phillipines was like say Australia..they would have purchased a boxer, cv 90s etc.

The Kaplan MT (Medium Tank) will always be a joint development between FNSS & Pindad. FNSS sales coverage is Africa whereas Pindad sales coverage is Asia & Asia Pacific.

Don't even care. Better than selling nothing at all. Lol

That is right. Pindad sought fnss's assistance. You mean selling to under developed countries..sure thing. Maybe that is the area where you should excel in. Cant imagine a south korea, japan, taiwan, etc. buying it would we? And of course Africa!

Nope. Don't even care.

Its is a dedicated Medium Tank with rear engine. Does it have a rear ramp door? Nope. If you want to complain please do so and send a letter to FNSS and PT Pindad. Lol.

Oh and please do send a letter also to Rheinmetall for naming their Marder 105mm a Marder Medium MBT and Hanhwa for their K21-105 a Medium Tank. Lol.

Well good for MPF if it has 8 - 9 cameras. Afterall it is the US Army requirement. If they need 8 - 9 cameras good for them.

Well ofcourse. Why not? Anything wrong with that? Lol. Same goes with ST Kinetics and Irish Timoney on the development of Terrex 8x8. They even built the Terrex 3 prototype in Ireland.

I dont care what you call it!. But im glad you would have to agree it is a 30 ton plus ifv/apc with a 105mm gun on top. So much for a dedicated tank design. You are misleading the whole forum and i am happy to point that out.

Who cares if it has or has no rear ramp door? The ifv version has a ramp door as you have shared.

More pictures...do not visualize a bms. I see some screens. It is probable it is at an infancy stage of development which will take a long time given the diverse nature of indonesian equipment.

Indeed. St initially collaborated with Timoney way back in 1980s....you can say we bought the design. But improved upon it. That was my point. Pindad sought Fnss assistance in designing this ifv/apc. Pindad needed expertise. FNSS was happy to share.

Have you sold it to another country? Is turkey buying it? St sold warthog apcs to the UK.

You are the one who started this rant when you could simply have agreed to disagree, even though the facts point otherwise.

Nope. Like i said before the FNSS/Pindad Medium Tank its not based from any existing IFV/APC platform. It was designed from the drawing board as a Medium Tank and was not designed to carry any infantry troops. Hence the word "Infantry" from IFV and "Personnel" from APC. Whether you like it or not. Lol.

I posted a link about BMS already installed in various TNI armored vehicles. Ofcourse Indonesia is new with BMS but doesn't mean there is no BMS contrary to what you said that Indonesia have no network centric on their vehicle. The fact is there is. I'm guessing you didn't even bothered reading the link. Try google translate. Lol.

No one is disputing that. Singapore is way ahead with their armored vehicle and naval industry compared to Indonesia. What Indonesia is ahead is in the Aviation Industry.

Lol. Well it was you who started ranting about the name Medium Tank. I even provide link, pics and even video. From your side? None. Like i said before i don't care if it was given the name Super Tank or even Gundam. The important thing is what role the user want to use the vehicle for and what strategy is given for their deployment. The FNSS/Pindad Medium Tank is to replace the AMX-13.

^^ The K21-105 Medium Tank is the competitor in both Philippines and Bangladesh procurement program.

Bangladesh more likely choose China over other competitors. Their newest MBT is MBT-2000 VT-1A (aka Al-Khalid MBT used by Pakistan) and their upgraded Type-69 II MBTs also using Chinese upgrade package kits.

Indonesia opted with the CMI 3105 instead of the XC-8 Turret. Pindad will licensed and produce the CMI 3105.

I think still for sure Bangladesh choose VT-5 Light Tank. Their Army is literally built up by China.

selling weapons and infra usually involves geo-politics, financing and less of the effectiveness of the product

SAF: Infantry Rally 2018

To celebrate their 61st anniversary, the Infantry Formation held their Infantry Rally with a series of exhilarating events. The first event was the Infantry Shoot held at SAFTI 300m Range whereby the participants had hands-on experience of the various weapons through live-firings.

The shoot was followed by the Infantry March event that brought together men and women from various units within the Infantry tribe. Started at the Changi Beach where the Sook Ching Massacre occurred, the Infanteers marched back to Selarang Camp, Home of the Infantry. At Selarang Camp, the Infanteers transited to the gruelling Infantry Combat Physical Training. The series of events not only served to challenge the Infanteers physically but also fostered stronger bonds of friendship and camaraderie. The Infantry Rally culminated in a lighting of the Infantry Flame and a dining get-together among the Infanteers.
