Hi guys

I just recently finished my PhD last 2 weeks. I am now looking for lectureship jobs in public/private university. Does anyone know the application process? Do I need to wait for job opening in order to apply? Or can I just cold e-mail the respective department and see where it goes? Hopefully anyone with experience can help me. I already asked my supervisor but she doesn't know because she didn't have to go through that process as she was sponsored by KPT 30 years ago.

Email your CV to the respective department. If they're interested then you can proceed with the forms and other documents.

Congratulations on your PhD. Now is different from time sponsored by KPT. I suggest that you give your CV to all the universities in Malaysia that has the similar course that you can teach. Private or public. All. Google all university courses. Just submit a CV there. Bound to get soon.

Just email or if you know someone inside the institution, that will be easier.
