Hey guys

Theres good news now for you Intel Mac Users. Its possible to run Windows Games like RO , Need for Speed , GTA Series on OSX. It will run as a Native Application , meaning that you dont have to load Windows or emulate it via VMWARE or so. Its pretty cool to show it off to your friends

Thanks to the so-called leaked cedega found in 'Heroes of Might of Magic V' , its possible to edit them and put your own games inside like GTA Or Need for speed and run them as a native OSX Application

Here is a complete how-to

Blizzard games have ALWAYS been MacOS native. Starcraft2 has also confirmed MacOS support.

It basically works , most of the games at least and they give you near i would say 90% performance you get in Windows. You might notice few 'lags' here and there but ey , you got that app to run as a native application under OSX without the need of reboot

This is not for noobs and it involves editing the plist to point to the fake installation directory. Read the guide there ten times. BTW I Tested , it even works with Pixel Shaders 2 , although it lags a lot. So I think that I need to have a kick-ass card now

Got GTA San Andreas and Hitman Contracts working. Changed "VertexShaders" = "N" in the config file to fix graphics on both but having control problems the mouse is way to sensitive on GTA so it's impossible to control the camera but the keyboard works fine

I quote from insanelymac forum. This guy manage to get GTA:SA working but mouse problem. wink.gif

Crazy Taxi does not work. Take a look at what games are supported by WINE. Most older games does not work as they check for some weird Windows strings and OSX is unable to mimic them ...
