El-cheapo TP-Link TL-WR-843ND. Reliable for years. Only cycle power every 3-4 months.

I would recommend you switch to Asus RT-AC1300UHP. I am using TP-Link C3150 v2.

What does cycle power means every 3-4 months?

Yes. Very good coverage and very stable, plus it does have IPS and built in antivirus as well, so it protects all your devices and IOTs. It is also very affordable, and cheaper than most of the high-end Asus routers. See here for a quick review from bro Jjuggler: https://techcyn.com/2018/03/14/tp-link-arch...3150-v2-review/

It is not as good as the high-end Asus routers but it is definitely worth the money and more.

ASUS RT-AC86U - potentially some issue with the 2.4GHz WiFi on 'recent' sets.
May want to hold off first, if you are considering this one.

Anyone has any opinion about Tenda?

There is some firmware problem with Unifi TV if you are using the C2300.
