PM sent, but good luck with granite Grey, all 1.5 models have 1-3 months waiting period.
As for bank it depends, do note that local car has slightly higher interest and also the term of the loan, shorter term is higher interest and vice versa
*
what about 1.3?

I got offered 3.14% from PBB. Loan amount is RM27800 and the tenure is 5 years. That's the lowest interest rate that I've got so far.
*
Mine 2.95%, 45k loan for 5 years.

For AV users, anyone here added darker tint on top of their security tint? Any feedback? is it recommended?
*
AV model doesn't come with solar tint? cz read from their website seems AV model having a solar + security tint.

Not exactly, was just me and the car dealership person. We did it over at Shell petrol station nearby my place for convenience.
Darker tint does look good i must say especially on the granite grey, but darker tint doesn't really reduce the heat and is purely cosmetic which i wouldn't recommend (JPJ regulations). The stock tint provided on the ADV models isn't really that strong as well heat reduction wise, I recommend you do a heat reduction tint instead or else be prepared to face the heat.

if i install tint outside, will it affects any warranty from Perodua?

Just got my 1.5Av today.
How many 1.5Av users here does replace a new tinting from shop outside?
Roughly how much $ range? Is it worth to remove Perodua one and install a new one?

Thanks in advance.

Brought the car up Genting last night. Good handling but cant compare to my Nissans la laugh.gif
*

If you remove the rear windscreen tint, it might spoil the demister.
If you put on a second layer, will they warranty the tint?
*
for sure perodua wont warranty anymore since removed. the warranty might just from the new tint shop.
just wondering is it worth for me to reinstall the tint since perodua solar function like not much and their QC really bad with quite numbers of tiny bubbles. doh.gif

anyone know what is the correct way to switch on & off aircond?
i checked manual book shows: fan button > a/c button to on aircond, and a/c button > fan off button to off the aircond

but when off it, the fan off button seems need press few times depends on the fan level u switched on earlier.

Yeah this aircond control is a hassle cause theres no universal on/off button.

So Use the memory button.

For memory 1, i set temp 3 and blower speed 1.
This will be my default on button to switch the ac on.

For memory 2, i set temp 3 and blower speed 0.
This will be my default off button to switch ac off.

Then manually change blower speeds when and as desired/required..
*
meaning every time u on/off engine u will
memory 1 button > AC button to switch on &
AC button > memory 2 button to switch off?

If u really want the a/c button off, then...

To on:
- press memory 2 (blower 1 + ac off)
- press memory 1 (blower 1-5 liking + ac on)
Atleast button nex to each other so nearer..

To off:
- press memory 2
- press off
Atleast button nearby oso and not accross...

not worried about starter.

more worried about battery kong in 1 year if keep using eco idle.

and myvi battery is not cheap, 400 bucks..

i also first thing after start car is turn off eco idle.
now its become like a religious practice already. muscle memory kicked in too, sometimes on hot day i will even instinctively turn off eco idle before even turning on the ac eventhough im super hot. sweat.gif
*
me too, haha. eventhough Perodua ask me not to worry as their eco idle system tech is very mature now since this is not the first time they do this.
but i still not comfortable with it, so still decided to off it once engine started.

another question is, this car dont have auto car door lock kah? cz prev gen myvi once u start the engine and first step on the brake pedal then doors will auto locked, as well as when off engine then door will auto unlock.

but this one, need press the middle panel lock button, then when off engine it wont auto unlock also, need press the unlock button to unlock again. still not get used to it doh.gif

Same here, made booking 2/1/19 til now also havent get. SA keep telling next week next week since after CNY. At first say before CNY can get, but give silver instead but we insisted want granite grey. End up need to queue again and keep delay an delay. SA acting very lc, say if dunwan then nvm lo can return money within the week. Very disappointed.
*
cz demand > supply, their booking list also long enough until they don't really care if you cancel your booking.
you cant get any better car with this price.

i have similar experience with yours, i placed my order early december (granite grey 1.5AV) and SA told me can get before CNY but end up only manage to get the car on early March. during CNY SA told me only red is available but i insist the color i choose so end up continue waiting.

but after you get the car you will feel the waiting is worthy. smile.gif

in my case yesterday they had 2 pieces put in. However I am not sure how much would be the cost for that part only.

On a different topic, anyone here has dashcams installed? Can you share how you routed it with your myvis? Thanks in advance.
*
Mine route like this. 4 areas the wire is exposed. No clips/tape being used.

Nice. Thank you so much. this give me an idea on how to route mine. So for the A-pillar, you just pushed in the wire or did you need to open up the pillar cover?
*
just push inside, dont dare to open cz got airbags lol. i just simply draw the route as per below for your easier reference. red refer to the exposed areas.

Thanks again! any reason why it's on the left side and not the left? Or is it just because of the placement of the dashcam?
*
you mean why on the left & not on the right? yea cz i prefer place the cam on left side, which the mirror blocked the view of dashcam from driver seat. so i wont get distracted while driving. tongue.gif

btw this cam quite good tho. video quality is quite decent. bought it from lazada for RM209 only. with parking mode but depends how long the 500mah built in battery can last (only triggered if there is vibration/impacts/unusual movement in front your car). highly recommend to those who looking for a budget good cam.

QUOTE(xcves @ Mar 11 2019, 02:40 PM)
Just a general fyi for all that dont know, myvi brakes have two stages.

The first stage is until about halfway of the pedal depress (or until you feel enough resistance on the foot). This is good enough for slowing and stopping the car when travelling at modest speed. This 1st stage braking also will not trigger the auto idle once the car is fully stopped.

And the second stage takes place if you depress it further and all the way to the end. You will realise there is more resistance and more force is required to step on the pedal. This is if youre doing hard braking, etc.
And only at this braking stage will the auto idle be triggered, basically a fully depressed brake pedal..

useful guide, thanks!
