As for bank it depends, do note that local car has slightly higher interest and also the term of the loan, shorter term is higher interest and vice versa

I got offered 3.14% from PBB. Loan amount is RM27800 and the tenure is 5 years. That's the lowest interest rate that I've got so far.

For AV users, anyone here added darker tint on top of their security tint? Any feedback? is it recommended?

Not exactly, was just me and the car dealership person. We did it over at Shell petrol station nearby my place for convenience.
Darker tint does look good i must say especially on the granite grey, but darker tint doesn't really reduce the heat and is purely cosmetic which i wouldn't recommend (JPJ regulations). The stock tint provided on the ADV models isn't really that strong as well heat reduction wise, I recommend you do a heat reduction tint instead or else be prepared to face the heat.

If you remove the rear windscreen tint, it might spoil the demister.
If you put on a second layer, will they warranty the tint?

Yeah this aircond control is a hassle cause theres no universal on/off button.

So Use the memory button.

For memory 1, i set temp 3 and blower speed 1.
This will be my default on button to switch the ac on.

For memory 2, i set temp 3 and blower speed 0.
This will be my default off button to switch ac off.

Then manually change blower speeds when and as desired/required..

you can remap the second memory button to complete off the a/c, so dunid press multiple times to off ac

If u really want the a/c button off, then...

To on:
- press memory 2 (blower 1 + ac off)
- press memory 1 (blower 1-5 liking + ac on)
Atleast button nex to each other so nearer..

To off:
- press memory 2
- press off
Atleast button nearby oso and not accross...

not worried about starter.

more worried about battery kong in 1 year if keep using eco idle.

and myvi battery is not cheap, 400 bucks..

i also first thing after start car is turn off eco idle.
now its become like a religious practice already. muscle memory kicked in too, sometimes on hot day i will even instinctively turn off eco idle before even turning on the ac eventhough im super hot.

Same here, made booking 2/1/19 til now also havent get. SA keep telling next week next week since after CNY. At first say before CNY can get, but give silver instead but we insisted want granite grey. End up need to queue again and keep delay an delay. SA acting very lc, say if dunwan then nvm lo can return money within the week. Very disappointed.

in my case yesterday they had 2 pieces put in. However I am not sure how much would be the cost for that part only.

Just a general fyi for all that dont know, myvi brakes have two stages.

The first stage is until about halfway of the pedal depress (or until you feel enough resistance on the foot). This is good enough for slowing and stopping the car when travelling at modest speed. This 1st stage braking also will not trigger the auto idle once the car is fully stopped.

And the second stage takes place if you depress it further and all the way to the end. You will realise there is more resistance and more force is required to step on the pedal. This is if youre doing hard braking, etc.
And only at this braking stage will the auto idle be triggered, basically a fully depressed brake pedal..
