I booked on 29th June, signed hire purchase docs today. My SA could not guarantee that I will definitely get before 1 Sept.

Super nervous now.

It is quite possible with so many issues currently plaguing the new govt. We will know when Parliament convenes next week.

My SA refuses to guarantee anything but told me she would try to allocate to me any car available due to abandoned purchase. I'll just wait and see. smile.gif

This was confirmed by my SA from Honda.

Stock tyres are 185/55. Most of us install 195/55 PS3. This means the sidewall of the PS3 is higher which translates to more air which means its more comfortable than stock tyres.

My SA told me PS3 is quieter, more comfortable & performs better than stock Goodyears cos he has experience in driving his branch's test car versus customer's Myvis fitted with PS3s.

I personally can't tell you how good PS3s are compared to stock tyres cos the moment I got my car, I traded in the Goodyears. However, I've been using Michelin tyres for the longest time (XM2, PS2, Pilot Sport Cup 2, PS4S) & I can safely say you can't go wrong with em.

All above mentioned michelin tyres except XM2 is UHP tyres...high performance tyres.

I see Michelin got only these two tyre for 195/55/15 size, XM2 and PS3. Not sure the exact price but try looking at lazada both price are about the same maybe PS3 a bit higher around rm10-30 only. From what I know, XM2 and PS3 is a different tyre. XM2 is more 'eco', save fuel, comfort(maybe quieter?) and also last long while PS3 is a performance tyre, best in wet and dry which I think one of the best performance tyre available we can fit with that size.  thumbup.gif

Now I not sure which one to buy. haha

From my experience in years of driving, there are 2 items you shouldn't try to save...tyres and braking system.
These could means life and death in split of a second.

Might only affect the accuracy of your speedometer. You can search online to check using the tyre calculator.

Hi all, im not sure whether this is the right place to ask as my Myvi Model was the 1.5 AT SE (2013, over warranty) as there are no updates on >>**LYN Perodua MYVI Owners Club v27°°<<.

Currently my car mileage at 23478km, just went to Perodua SC at ss2/1 not long ago (all the while has been doing my car maintenance here even over warranty, due to strategic location for me), they have suggested to change the shock absorber by judging on the tire's condition (on all 4 sides) while doing my major service. He didn't actually detailed why i should change it all. Anyway, kindly advice should i perform the change? but i think my mileage are very low to today's standard as i mainly use it for outstation ride once a few month, usually short distance ride on local area.

Another enquiry i would like to ask is that, do i have to actually follow their schedule service timeline since my car already out of warranty and due to low mileage? any input are welcome.

If TS find that my post are not in the appropriate thread, kindly advice any alternate thread that i can refer to, Thank you ^^

If your tyres indicate irregular wear, then it might be caused by faulty absorbers. Just drop by any tyre shop n I think they can explain to you what causes the tread wear on your tyres.
Hope that helps
