It's useful to read battery voltage and car temperature

Haha not into soundproofing and ICE. I'm more into performance and handling. Want to change works engineering air filter and extractor (if have) next... Yesterday changed to Michelin PS3 tyres. I'll upload pic later

Installed throttle controller and the pick up is super good. Step a bit already 5k+ RPM. Maybe 0-100 can be less than 10 seconds?
*
Ah ok. You may wanna consider BMC air filter. A pal who tracks recommended the brand over K&N.

Plus I think air filters for Vios (2014 onwards) fits our Myvis.

is there a control to activate rear wiper?

Use 2 fingers to hold the end of the left stalk. Twist it forward. There are 2 modes. Try it. smile.gif

sorry for my mistake, i mean which company? like Petronas, Shell, BHP or Caltax. ^^
*
Plenty people swear by Petronas.

My first choice is BHP followed by Caltex or Petron. I use 97 though. I keep 2 cans of Liqui Moly Octane Plus in my cars just in case I have to use 95. smile.gif

thanks for sharing, im using petronas ron95 for 1500km++ dy, still donno want to try others or not, haha!

Fyi, the liqui moly octane plus "Application  One 150 ml can is sufficient for 50 l gasoline. Increases the RON by up to 4 points. Pour Octane Plus into the fuel tank and then top up with fuel. Mixing takes place automatically. Minimum fuel filling of 7 gal. is requested for optimum product performance. Note: Do not store the product at temperatures > 40 °C for extended periods! "
*
No worries. Yeah. Good for 50 liters so I have something to measure should I need to pour it into Myvi's tank. smile.gif

Cars are usually parked indoors at work & home so no issues. smile.gif

IMHO, Smart Tag won't be phased out that fast. Lanes will probably be hybrids of ST/RFID until a certain time has passed.

Hi guys, going to get new myvi as my first car (using a second hand kancil as of now for many years already) LOL. Which one to choose 1.3X or 1.5H? Im trying to read the v1 but its too many pages to read . A simple summary on which is better is good enough. Mostly will use to go work and city ride only.
*
If you can afford it get the 1.5H or 1.5AV cos there's no replacement for displacement. wink.gif

Good afternoon my fellow Myvi owners, quick question yea, when approaching the 1000 service.. do i need to call ahead and book and appointment or just drive up to any perodua service center and say pretty please?
*
I work in Segambut. I just drove to the Sgambut SC before lunch without appointment, walked back to office & picked it up 3 hours later.

I was lucky cos it wasn't a busy day & my colleague is buddy-buddy with one of the SA. wink.gif

Hi, may I know what your opinion regarding this tyre, PS3? Yeah I know it is a performance tyre and should be good overall. But my concern is comfort and noise. Compare to stock tyre, which one better in comfort and noise? Actually want to change tyre and PS3 is one of my option.
*
Stock tyres are 185/55. Most of us install 195/55 PS3. This means the sidewall of the PS3 is higher which translates to more air which means its more comfortable than stock tyres.

My SA told me PS3 is quieter, more comfortable & performs better than stock Goodyears cos he has experience in driving his branch's test car versus customer's Myvis fitted with PS3s.

I personally can't tell you how good PS3s are compared to stock tyres cos the moment I got my car, I traded in the Goodyears. However, I've been using Michelin tyres for the longest time (XM2, PS2, Pilot Sport Cup 2, PS4S) & I can safely say you can't go wrong with em.

I see Michelin got only these two tyre for 195/55/15 size, XM2 and PS3. Not sure the exact price but try looking at lazada both price are about the same maybe PS3 a bit higher around rm10-30 only. From what I know, XM2 and PS3 is a different tyre. XM2 is more 'eco', save fuel, comfort(maybe quieter?) and also last long while PS3 is a performance tyre, best in wet and dry which I think one of the best performance tyre available we can fit with that size.  thumbup.gif

Now I not sure which one to buy. haha
*
My wife's Prius is on it's second set of XM2 tyres. I changed it for her after approximately 100k km mileage done in 3 years & it still had 2.3mm tread left before level with the tread wear indicator. Probably can still use for another 10-20k km. Really long lasting this model.

My first time using PS3 & I've only done 2.7k km. I'm guessing on the Myvi it'll do at least 50k km & above before need replacing. The lifespan of my other Michelin UHP tyres average out to approximately 40k km.

Hope it helps.

Yeah XM2 is really a durable tyre.

In term of comfort and noise which one you prefer, XM2 or PS3?
*
Tbh, I can't really tell. The NVH of the Myvi is not as good as the Prius obviously so I guess noise will be subjective.

As for comfort, the higher the sidewall the more comfortable it'll be but you'll lose out on handling.

Do Tyre shops accept trade in for 1 month old tyres? Maybe I wanna change my stock tyres too  brows.gif

Requested the BM to help me trade in the almost brand new stock tyres before I picked up my car. I paid RM500 for new PS3 tyres.

Hi, did anyone test the fuel tank capacity? According to the manual it states capacity is 36 ltrs. Today i tested until my range was 10km, fuel warning light on & no more bars on fuel indicator. Refuel full tank oni 30 ltrs so does it mean balance 6 ltrs in reserve tank?
*
I'll take Perodua's word for it & I hope I never be in that situation.

That being said, try not to go below 1/4 tank. This step among others are to avoid restrictions, helps maintain proper air fuel ratio mixture and reduces undue strain on the fuel pump.
