Got my Myvi AV on 2nd Aug
Drove all the way up to Penang on last Saturday.
Did a stupid FC test (because of 1st type selecting the fuel type)

Mileage: 330KM
Speed: 150 ~ 160 km/h (average)
FC: roughly 11km/L
Fuel: Shell V Power Racing, Full Tank @ RM 100 (3.34/l)
From: Shell Station @ PLUS highway
To: Sungai Ara, Penang.

The throttle for myvi is damnnnn sien, the pickup is not as responsive as my previous Gen2 AT. Probably because the car is designed for fuel saving purposes? Was expecting too much from the D-VVTI engine. rclxub.gif
Because last time when I drive my friends car up to Johor, the result I get is around 400km in RM60 (around 14km/l), driving pattern is the same (150km/h average). Was thinking if the problem is that, Kl > Penang (uphill) & KL > JB (flat).

Another F.C. test conducted on Sunday from Penang > Ipoh > KL

Mileage: 520Km
Speed: 100 ~ 120 km/h
FC: 15.8 km/L
Fuel: Shell Ron95, Full Tank @ RM 72 (2.2/l)
From: Sungai Ara > Ipoh (30km drive in city) > Puchong

I guess this is a better FC. But I do prefer if the car can have a
Probably as what I mentioned earlier, this car is designed for fuel saving only. Even though they claimed to get 21km/l. ( unsure.gif got cheated haha) dunno should I be happy or not with this result. I feel sad for my Gen2 baby. (I didn’t know the diff is not much before I did this F.C. test)

I’m buying myvi because my parent’s iswara is having trouble for now. Still wondering if i should get back to my Gen2 (for pickup, speed & bootspace) or keep myvi & gen2 for them (I’m not a good son haha). Probably gonna pass this Myvi soon because I’m thinking to get a 4x4 for my business..

In overall, speed hunters if you have enough budget, please go for City/Vios. I’m changing my driving pattern just to suite for myvi from now.. was a bad choice trying to stay in low profile, sacrificing performance.

The 21km/l is able to achieve when you cruise on 80km/h (assume on smooth drive). If you feel the pick up not that nice maybe you can try install the e-drive controller to improve respond? example below;

Just went for 10,000km service at SC:
- Changed both rear spring coils
- Changed engine oil (fully synthetic 0W-20)
- Oil filter and gasket
- they applied battery terminal protector, greasy oil everywhere around the battery dry.gif
*
SA told me only 0W-20 is compulsory for all myvi blink.gif
About the battery terminal protector, i thought is just a cover and in the end it's greasy oil. i regret choose not to include during service. doh.gif doh.gif

RM180+
It's better not to include the battery terminal protector. The oil will attract a lot of dust and dirt around the terminals. Unless you worry about acid leaking from the battery.

yea man, next time dont think wan to add d. i rather go buy myself and find cover put on it. hahahaa

Thanks for the output, sir!  But let said straight come out from dealership and direct hit road trip ? The engine is new and does so called "Break in" procedure
like below 4k RPM and below 100km/h ? Does it even damage the pistol?
*
No worry my fren, during the first day of collect the car, i alrdy travel to highway for 50+KM and speed nearly 100kmh.
So far i dont have any issue at all. (current mileage is 16k).

That's the auto start stop indicator, light green on mean your auto start stop is ready to perform.

What's in the RM385? I think normal service only around RM260. Any major thing need to service at 20k?

Perodua's service maintenance page seems to be down since last week so I cannot check
*
RM385? that's somehow high man. my service only cost me around RM260.......

Exactly my point of encounter and experience. Have you let Perodua checked it out?
*
try check if the sound come from aircond/blower there. switch to high and low and high to check.

Not yet. Will do so during next service.
It's from blower. Turning it up will make the noise louder and it will be gone when I switch it off.
*
try record the noise and then let SC know. probably will get replacement for blower. since your car should be under warranty
