Got a myvi for my mom. She’s been driving it for the past 2 weeks to go to fish market in the morning and stuff.

Today i check the fuel meter. 10.1km/l. I do believe that my mom drives less than 70km/h. 100% city driving. But 10.2 is so bad. It is even worse than the test drive unit last time i check is 10.9km/l on the test drive unit.

Probably the way how this myvi has been tuned, the pickup from 0-30kmh is verrry slow. For the first 2 weeks I got best was 13-14km/l. It gives the impression the car is slow and sluggish when at stop. After that I switch my driving style and now my car is averaging 18.4km/l at nearly 5k mileage.

Gotta say my commute 80% highway and 20% city drive with heavy traffic.

Now I’m started to think that my Myvi FC really really sucks?

Now FC is clocked at 10.9km/L

I’ve been driving Honda City and my FC is at 15km/L

It’s the same route I usually go - drive back n forth to office/home. And I’m living in Kuching, not the traffic is not that bad and no highways.

At first, on paper Honda City FC is around 17km/L and Myvi I think is around 20km++/L

Been using the Myvi around 3 months ++ and I though maybe ‘Typical Malaysian Car overstating the FC number to get people to buy’ but apparently other people get quite high FC with their Myvi while I don’t?

If it were up to my driving’s behaviour, I think since my FC on my Honda City is 15km/l (actual) compared to 17km/l (as advertised by Honda) then my Myvi FC should be at least higher than my actual Honda City FC since on paper Myvi have better FC.

But this is the opposite way, even I only get half on the FC amount?

High fc on mine only possible when my journey is 95% highway at cruising speed 100km/h.

And depends on how heavy your right foot is. Whenever there's green light I'll ease slowly and 90% the car infront will be a few cars length ahead. But in the end we'll both catch up regardless.

Anyone knows how much will it cost to touch up the rear bumper?

Park my car outside and next morning there's a huge dent and scratch on the bumper. Some idiot middle of the night langgar and just left I guess
