I noticed many pickup trucks from Thailand are lowered

Did they do it to make it look better?

Or could it be for safety and handling?

The only reason I suspect that they are prone to speeding and evading the laws (illegal payload? overload?) .. thats why must optimize their vehicle for this purpose.

If you call can drive slow in housing area like advanced countries then no need for speed bumps. Ini tak, drive in housing area like driving in autobahn.

Traditionally meant low-riding utility vehicles that functions like pickups but with monocoque body instead of body-on-frame chassis. very popular in Australia.

Local example is the Proton Arena, which was quite popular in Australia as well.

Nowadays the term encompasses all vehicles with a flatbed in the back including normal body-on-frame pickups.

come on la... truck or 4x4 nowadays are not like last time one... I owned a triton... already 4 years la... 1st year in and out of jungle la main off road... now tired already

current 4x4 truck is drag racing style... engine management to increase toque and hp.. whooaa I tell you... 40hp gain is like having a steroid... pull you like a buffalo at the traffic light stop and left all those bmw and merc and also honda civic wanabies...

lowered and change 20'rim and low profile tires... no longer off road tire... this I will do in near future... becoz I no longer go offroad...

The 700Nm torque is real. Feel like the aircraft take off acceleration damn good. Especially max out speedometer below 40 seconds. devil.gif

I thought they couldn't afford to the expensive & large tires on the normal pickups so they bought the smaller & cheaper tires. Then get it lowered to avoid too much underskirt.
