I noticed many pickup trucks from Thailand are lowered

Did they do it to make it look better?

Or could it be for safety and handling?

If the center of gravity is lower, it'll be less likely to over turn.

Pickup trucks are known to flip.

you don get much bump in Thailand then in malaysia ...even have also bump is relatively small and manageable unlike here macam haroom

We even have the low rider utes in performance version, Holden or Fold produce decent performance utes

Not planning to offroad, and easy to load item on the truck bed

Cukur rich unker stay in guarded area with >10 speedbumps

lowered more stability for rwd ...very easy to loose control in slippery road if you are not rally driver

The only reason I suspect that they are prone to speeding and evading the laws (illegal payload? overload?) .. thats why must optimize their vehicle for this purpose.
