Currently playing this game (PC version). My major problem is Speed Challenge. OMG, I use the Xbox 360 controller for Windows - - one slight wrong move to the right and BAM!! I'm totaled.

As for Grip racing, its really gets my heart pumping - - don't go too fast and don't good too slow. And everytime I use turbo, my eyes are wide open, afraid its just a little bit too fast !

Now that's racing.

This game is just one word...

UNPREDICTABLE

No matter how good I get, there will always been s*** that happens. And guess what? Its all my fault. Its the driver's fault.

Wow, Pro Street is a "whole new level" of realism. Its that real.

ps : I am so damn scared to use nitrous. I am afraid to Total or get Heavy Damage. The stakes are higher as you progress through the laps per race. biggrin.gif

pps : OMG. Speed Challenge. OMG = Speed Challenge. sweat.gif

Anyone know how to be good at Speed Challenge?

I mean, the quicker the car the more likely you get "totaled". Just going off a bit to the side, sometimes when you correct yourself, the car won't like what you are doing, and BAMM !!! Totaled !!! sad.gif

Especially Nevada. sweat.gif

NFS Pro Street is amazingly fun, and incredibly realistic. The fun factor here is how realistic the game is. Really, really phenomenal.

My favourite is of course, Speed Challenge and Grip. To be great at Grip racing, you need to know the track. You need to practice first. I found ways to cut corners and take the sidelines to my advantage.

ps : Punching the Nitrous button means, two times more likely to crash. That's real. nod.gif

360 gamepad owns. keyboard is too.....digital for proper racing

Keyboard vs. gamepad, Gamepad wins... why? Because the left-thumb stick - turning the car left or right is crucial in this game (...of course la!!) but more than ever in NFS PS. Its because

"One wrong move, and suffer the consequences".

The left and right keys on the keyboard do no justice... you can't feel how much force you are applying turning left or right...

PS : PC version.

PPS : Speed challenge? Anyone? How to be good in Nevada ?

I am not "yet" NFS PS Xbox 360 gamer, my game box in still in its plastic un-opened... at this mo I'm PC...

I am using the Xbox 360 Controller for Windows, its the best way to play NFS PS on the PC (haven't tried steering-wheel though).
I don't find any issues at all playing the game. Its just RT for acceleration, and LT for braking. And then the the left directional stick for moving left or right. There are more buttons, its up to you to use them. You can customise it in the main menu options.
