Nothing needed.
As long as it's a Nikon, the service centre will clean the sensor for free.
Doesn't matter if it's a local set or imported set.
No question asked, no proof of purchase needed.

p/s: this question had been asked & answered many times.

That's cool, but let me share what Nikon in North America says about their customer service:

QUOTE
Who is the authorized importer of Nikon Equipment into Canada?
Nikon Canada Inc. is the sole authorized importer of Nikon Corporation of Japan for photographic devices. Goods are then distributed to Nikon country subsidiary and distributor offices who pay shipping into the local country, import duties and taxes, and provide service and support for these products. Nikon Canada Inc. ensures that the products they import are fully certified and safe for use in the Canadian market.

How do I know if my Nikon product is "Grey Market"?
One of the first indicators that a piece of Nikon merchandise might be Grey Market is if the price is considerably less than most other resellers. Additionally, a genuine product sold by a Nikon country subsidiary or distributor office will include a User Manual in the local language. Any other language on the printed material indicates a Grey Market item. Another indication of a Gray Market product would be photocopied manuals or manually created software CD's. Nikon offices in Canada always provide professionally printed or duplicated materials with genuine products.

What does owning a "Grey Market" Nikon product mean to you?
Nikon Canada offices cannot provide any technical support or warranty service on Grey Market items. Additionally Nikon Canada offices cannot perform any fee-based repair work on Grey Market items. Please do not contact your local Nikon office for help with any Grey Market products. Please contact the reseller or importer of your Grey Market items for warranty and service information as well as software updates and downloads.

Does owning a "Grey Market" Nikon product mean I don't have a warranty?

No, all Nikon products come with a warranty by the manufacturer. The designated Nikon service center will always repair "in warranty" Nikon products and perform "out of warranty" repairs. If you own a Grey Market product it will need to be returned to the reseller or importer for service. Refer to your reseller for service contact information.
Yup, they are very anal about gray market products over here. BUT, USA warranty lenses usually fetch a better price in used market.
