hi everyone. i've been goin through this thread (not all 70 of them of course ) and my choices have boiled down to either the 206bw or the 226bw. the price diff between the two is generally less than 200...but i've heard that the quality is better on the 20 cuz both models have the same per pixel (...) somethig like that. i'm also a bit worried about the panel..heard that i shud avoid the A panel, and that S was the best. some recent posts also mentioned about lag, though i think my x2 3800+ and x1950pro with 2gig ram shud b fine for the native resolution no? if i cant play at the native and only at 1280 for example, would the screen look weird?!

my lcd would be mainly for watching series/movies and gaming. wud really appreciate any input from owners of both models. thanks a bunch!!

yup the specs are identical...except the weight and size of course
any difference in viewing angle between these two models?

would u guys still recommend the 226bw for my specs (see sig) since its quite likely i wont be able to play most games in the native resolution of the monitor (1680x1050 right?)? would it be better for me to get a 19inch instead? i wont actually mind unless by playing at a resolution the quality is so bad my 17inch crt is better any input by users please???

just picked up my 226bw. and Whoa! its huuuge compared to my 4yr old 17inch crt so far looks great, havent tried gaming yet. but do u guys get a bit of a headache after using an lcd like this for the first time? i mean, the first thing i noticed was that it was REALLY bright, so had to turn it down. guess my eyes need to get used to it eh

hey how come when i watch some stuff it still has black bars on the top and bottom? does this mean they're not WS?

dunno about others bro. but i hate bright screens. mine is on 15bright and 38contrast only and i'm lovin it
