yeah.... if your GC can support WS resolution la... so for those already own a decent GC, then better get monitor first...

i'm still in awe of my 226BW monitor... worth every single cent paid for it.... then later only upgrade to better GC...

what for buy 8series card and then use small CRT monitor? hehe...

I reckon buy monitor 1st is always better. U can still enjoy ur movies n surfing on a much bigger screen. Then after u haf the monitor u can gauge what ur requirements r for gaming n buy an appropriate card for ur budget. Buying a super gfx card 1st n using it on a small monitor just doesnt make sense.

haha...bro...yeah... sure pixelated if you run movies... cause the resolution too high...

i'm having the same issue as well...but try sitting further away from ur screen...the movies will look better...

Just saw my LCD yesterday and gosh, crazy DELL sent them in 3 different boxes. Even those small cables need one additional BIG box..LOL...

Tested it for dead pixel with "dead pixel buddy" and luckily, there is none..Absolutely beautiful screen and conversion from 17in CRT is absolutely amazing..Backlight bleeding was at a bare minimum as wel..

Too bad when i launched movies now, they are somehow pixelated. Maybe because the resolution is too high.

Added on June 17, 2007, 6:02 pmi'm a user of samsung 226BW now...it's one hell of a great LCD...

the only problem i can complain about the monitor is the poor viewing angle...you shift a little bit to the right or left...the edge of the monitor starts to turn yellowish thingie... so this is only the problem la...but i already expect this since i read TN panels the VA is not good...

LG and Samsung? in my opinion, you might not really notice the performance between both monitor...best is try demo urself... else...get the cheaper between two...or whichever design you like best...

my 2 cents only...
