Care to share with us how is the warranty being done?Do you still get the sales after service from Dell?  Since some of us curious how viewnet manage to have Dell LCDs selling at their outlet.

Whoa.. 55 for brightness is kinda malap to me... sweat.gif

But I manage to find a setting that is suitable with me... 75 for both brightness and contrast. And 74, 77 and 87 for Red, Green and Blue respectively.
Ofcourse... 3 years waranty from DELL. Though I am not so sure about their one-on-one change policy. But I think its 30 days for that.

In terms of warranty... I think akachester and kianwee would have a better insight on it since both have gone through the procedur. Regarding Viewnet though... it would be better if someone can ask them since I'm kinda curious about their warranty system as well. Is it directly from DELL or not? Since I do heard rumors from other people that they might be selling a refurbished units... and even then I still am not sure about it.

87 for blue is abit too cold for me the screen hehe.
about the warranty from viewnet.. 1st year direct to viewnet. other 2 years to dell. if want straight go to dell also can. according to the sales person.

Glad to hear that. So is it safe to say that your monitor is not refurbished unit after all?

hmm if it is a refurbished unit, is there any way to determine it? but as long as it has no dead pixels and other problems, it doesn't bother me if it is a refurbished unit laugh.gif
