Yea, no diffs in resolution for 20" and 22"..

But for those "picky" ppl, it might annoyed them since 20" and 22" has same resolution, meaning 22" pixels will look "bigger"... meaning not as sharp as 20" due screen size, if u know what i mean.. sweat.gif

Juz my 0.01sen tongue.gif

A lot of videos files, dvd included look real crappy on widescreens that's 24 inches because the limited "width x height" is stretched far beyond what it was originally intended for.

So until everything gets encoded in HD, what's a good workaround to make viewing these legacy video files more bearable?

Not sure what are u trying to say... sweat.gif

Izzit u meant the ratio size?... for example DVD movies (widescreen aspect) will look 'stretched' on LCD monitor rite?...

Btw, it doesnt matter whether its 24inch monitors...

Afaik, all widescreen monitors are 16:10 ratio widescreen, wherelse mostly widescreen movies are 16:9 or even wider aspect ratio.

Sure it will look 'scretched', but at least it a widescreen monitor will look much better compared to yer typical non-widescreen monitors which its 4:3 or 5:4... tongue.gif

I gotta say at times i pretty much pissed-off abt..
"WHY IN THE WORLD THEY MAKE LCD MONITOR (16:10) ASPECT RATIO DIFFERENT TO LCD TV (which its 16:9)!?..."
... okok.. rant off tongue.gif
