Anyone used BenQ 20" LCD? Any comment? Bad experience maybe? The price gap under RM100 already between 19" part.

Depends on the games. If you say STALKER, Oblivion, you will suffer from lagness at 1920x1200, but its playable with 1680x1050 with all max details. Games like NFS, Test Drive Unlimited, C&C3, GRAW 1 I've tested all still playable with native resolution and max settings.

If u r waiting for Crysis dont worry. The game is very optimised. Can play on 8600GT without hassle. Between, just get 20" widescreen still can get 1680x1050. thumbup.gif

looking for 20" samsung at pc fair Penang but couldn't find ready stock...all need to order.bought samsung 226bw instead and now feel regret ..
arg... it just too big for me... feel tired and abit pening after play fps games..

That's why getting only 20" is sufficient. Wasting money getting 22" coz the optimum resolution is the same.

get 226bw since the price difference is very few. And because the resolution on a 20" is the same as 22", so viewing fonts on a 20" is very small and hurt your eyes. And also another reason is, 20" is way overpriced, for Samsung 20" which is around rm900, u can get 22" from other brands such as dell or acer alrdy.

ur specs should be fine with the native reso, I ve the same specs as urs, i ve tried that on CNC3 and COH on 1680*1050 with the same details on 1280*1024, the fps at most only a few lesser compare to 1280*1024, no worries
*
What make u say that? Anyway the samsung 20" 206BW has 3000:1 contrast ratio, 2ms which other cheaper brand dont hav or u just dont care about gaming image quality etc.

Maybe bcoz of TV functionality that make them too expensive. Between there is still no such a 40" computer LCD.
