Hello all. I'm planning to get a 30" or 32" LCD monitor for my pc. My question is, will a 32" LCD TV or 30" LCD Monitor look better? As far as I know, 32" LCD TVs can only support up to a resolution of 1366 x 768 while 30" LCD Monitors can have up to 2560 x 1600. Besides, most LCD TVs do not have DVI input. Does this mean LCD monitors will look nicer?

QUOTE(iZuDeeN @ Jul 29 2007, 05:49 PM) if you compare a 32" LCD TV and a 30" LCD Monitor, first of all you can see that the monitor cost twice as much, secondly the monitor has a ridiculously high resolution, which if you don't have a 8800ultra, don't dream of playing on the native resolution.. if you want to use the monitor for gaming, and u want a big screen, I suggest getting a LCD TV, if you want to use for CAD/gfx design, then I suggest you get the monitor... Note that your comparison in terms of price is totally out of range of this 2.... you should compare a 32" LCD TV with a 24"/27" LCD monitor... Thanks for your reply dude. I forgot to mention that actually my aunt is planning to get the monitor, and she hasn't given me any budget. She just wants something that's around 30" and has the best quality, and she won't mind paying more for that. That's why now I'm scouting for the 30s LCD Monitors and 32s TVs. Lets say I do get a 8800ultra, does that mean the LCD monitor would look nicer with the higher resolution and all?
