Should be 16:10 ?

Wow...So long the delay?I might have been very very lucky then. You can always check the ETA at Dell website after your order have been processed. But according to DELL website (IIRC), it states around 3 - 20days.How can it be that long?

Anyway, my best advice is to call up Dell and ask..Would be better. Even Hyde`fK got it in 3 days IIRC..

I order mine on May 26 and ETA June 8. But later get a email saying shipment delayed to June 15. Anyway, I just got a call from them yesterday saying it will be delivered today. I emailed them complaining about the delay and they reply by next day. I heard the shipment is from Korea. Most likely the panel is OEM by Samsung or LG. icon_idea.gif

I think you will probably get it 1 week earlier than their estimated date of delivery.

16:9 is for LCV TV.
LCD monitor is for widescreen LCD monitors.

16:9 stretch longer on the horizontal axis than 16:10 of a comparable size, ie. 16:9 would seemed wider.

16:9 doesn't mean it is for LCD TV. There are laptops using 16:9 screen as well.

since 16:9 is wider than 16:10.. is it lower in heights than 16:10??

Definitely correct. If to watch 16:9 ratio movie on a 16:10 LCD, you will have two black bars on the top and bottom on the screen.
