QUOTE(alrasla @ Sep 3 2007, 07:31 AM) Samsung 2232GW2232GW VS 226DW which more more better? 1. As far as i know there is no samsung 226dw, do you mean bw? 2. You can't say "more better", say "which is better". The more is redundant. 3. The question you asked has been debated over the last few pages. Don't be so lazy that you can't even go back 1 page to find out the answer to your question.

If you own an nvidia card it doesn't matter cos 1:1 ratio is supported in the driver.

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Sep 3 2007, 03:57 PM) Woohoo! Lucky I own a GeForce 7950 GT!!! cool.... might be getting a pair of those hopefully before the end of next month. Oh, and Vista sucks for Dual-Screen....... have to use a 3rd party app to get back the Dual-View functionality like the XP nVidia Drivers....... Nope, I'm using the native vista nvidia drivers to get dual screen functionality. the nvidia control panel is exactly the same in vista as it was in XP. Been running my dual screen set up for quite a few months now on vista without any problems. Although, blacktrix, you posted a while back in Q&A that you can choose to accelerate one monitor so as not to drain GC resources. Mind telling me how? Using ultramon?

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Sep 3 2007, 04:18 PM) I dunno about UltraMon....... but last time in XP, they gave alot more options in the nView panel........ Alot of options in the Vista version of the nVidia drivers are missing compared to the XP one...... No different backgrounds on each monitor, no one button switch to other screen, no maximize to full screen option....... lots of stuff that I loved about the nVidia drivers. I just upgraded to Vista 2 days ago, so still learning..... I also just installed UltraMon to have my different backgrounds, but don't use it for anything else....... will have to delve deeper in the menus and I'll get back to ya on that. Thats the funny thing, i never had all those shizzle options in my xp drivers. So I always assumed you never got that functionality with xp. In fact, I'm playing with my display drivers on my xp laptop atm and it looks exactly the same as my vista desktop. edit: actually scratch that. I do remember the old nview menu - you could do stuff like adjust keystone settings but that was back when I was on my geforce ti4600. I assumed they got rid of that functionality in the later drivers. Maybe i need to play around a little more with the drivers as well. This post has been edited by Kidicarus: Sep 3 2007, 04:59 PM
