Edging closer to my 4 series, it is apparent that my body is changing. But 1 thing boggles me, and not too sure what it is.

Being a man, I enjoy looking at ladies. But unlike when I was much much younger, I don't seem to be able to get instant hard-on? It used to jump at the slightest trigger - a whiff of perfume would have drive me crazy!

I am married, and leading a quite sedentary life- desk job, 9to5, and by the time I reachef home, I'm spent. Sex frequency has dropped with wife, being married for years. But I do Masturbate and watch pr0n every once in a while, out of urges - and boredom of daily life.

Not sure if it's to do with lesser sex drive, or signs of erectile dysfunction?

Before deciding, change your life style. Exercise. Eat better. Consume more healthy fats. Drink more water. Sleep better.

I read that men's testosterone level drops by 1% every year after 30. Coupled by your sedentary lifestyle, I think that's why your libido is taking a hit these days. Increase your physical activities and stop with the porn addiction if you can.

Will work exercising, and also on eating better food (due to work demand, I was eating whatever's convenient.

As for the rest, am doing fine.

And is having problem sleeping at night - will work on this.

Not sure fapping is considered physical activity, but will cut down on it. Porn? Not addicted to it - its a phase after ling drought only.

If you fail to plan, you failed. Plan things ahead even for your sleep. I am busy too, but I get my food in. Not those whatever is convenient. I get my food in because I prepare before hand.

It could be a normal aging process or perhaps you have a hormone problem? Have you had blood tests to check your hormones?

But I think that it's normal that as men ages, sexual stimulation is gained more from physical contact, and not thru visual only?

Darn it - it seems only yesterday that looking at lingerie at the shopping complex would have given me cold sweats, pumped up hearts, and that blood rush!

Considering the healthy diet you are having, it means that your general health is good. But does it sustain your libido too?

My libido is never low to begin with. Whatever I am doing is heightening it. So long that I do what I do, I get what I get, 2 times a day is not a problem. Of course, stimulation from porn and sexy women walking down the street with butt cheek exposed or boobs exposed do not make me go hoo haa like when I was in primary school. Sleep well, eat well, then you are 80% there.

Tq for the clarifications. It makes more sense now. So technicallly, high/low libido has less to do with whether one gets a boner all the time.

Wondering if the thoughts of sex = libido?
I.e. more frequent thinking = higher level?

What is you age and health condition (as in any disease)?
How much exercise do you do a week, how long each session?
*
Mid 30s, with no disease (perhaps an onset of diabetic, given that i got up to pee in the early morning). I hardly exercise, except for walking whenever I have the time

Are you did not try to turn to an endocrinologist? Impaired hormone levels affect your libido, sexual function, performance and pleasure. Here is an article checking low growth hormone: https://hghtherapydoctor.us/hgh-deficiency-testing/. I advise you to read.

From what i've learnt, the hormonal changes will begins as soon as age reach 55. You can feel energetic but understand that your body is not anymore. But since you're only reaching 40 ish, i was thinking it's only in your head. If there is an issue you should seek for a medical counsel.

ED commonly happen for those 60 above right?. That is correct but not accurate. The actual fact is it can happen in all age and if you ask any doctors working in hospital, the statistical number is quite scary and its increasing year by year. One of the cause of ED is mainly coming from psychosocial perspective (Eg: the mpre you think about it, the more it can actually happen. And also frequent watching cORN - no good man). But i do think there is no major issue with you, maybe it just a normal hormone changes due to boring sedentary lifestyle. Change it you you good to go!. Take a vacation for instant. Then hit the gym or park and eat a good food. Do that with your wife / kids.

Do not afraid to pay a visit to a doctor. No harm done yes?. Err maybe the harm part only will cost you rm5 max for government clinic and rm40 for private clinic rclxub.gif

Maybe try going to the gym for 3 months and see.

Beside higher testosterone level, you will feel healthier, feel better about your physical self, more energetic, etc.

Good luck!
