Does anyone know that do i require to download certain software or updates to use a usb - c multi adapter? I bought a multi adapter usb c to usb 3.0 x 3 slots for my macbook pro, it doesn't seems to work. not sure if the adapter spoilt or macbook require certain update. thanks

Shouldnt need any extra software or updates. It should be just plug and play. Did you buy 3rd party adapter or from Apple?

hey thanks for replying! yes its a cheap chinese 3rd party adapter. I tried it on my friends USB-C phone, it works perfectly.

Hmm.. Just afraid that your macbook wont recognize those cheap adapters.

Maybe try bringing it to Apple authorized reseller and ask them to test with their unit? Or any friends who have one?
