Buying Advice need video cam, help needed

hi guys help me to choose a video cam, noob here, before just using normal digicam.
the videocam must below 3000
-able to save in dvd -able to save in memory card -good zoom -good vids and pic

memory card? why not look into those with built in hdd? gonna be better...since no need to change dvd while shooting...

yeah... hdd cam is only 2+...thats like 2 years back...now it maybe cheaper...=)

i m not sure now... but the last i saw 30gb was the biggest....
Added on May 24, 2007, 6:26 amif u think 30gb is still not enough...there's one brand...i forgot...came out with a hybrid model...hdd + dvd...

40 hrs recording still not enuf?
for shooting video, 15 mins is considered very long, like forever. taking more than 2 hours it will be very boring, unless its a lecture/talk etc...

agree with greyPJ... i spent 2 weeks in the UK... total vid length...2hrs + hahahahha...thats like until the vid cam overheated n shut down by itself...
