Recently I have been bitten by the car bug hard.
I have always been a car type of guy, but I always hold off my car purchases due to parents advice and also I have been financially quite caution..

I have always love the Mazda lantis and fiat coupe due to their elegant design. However my first car purchase was a Toyota Corolla SEG AE101 due to it being more practical. Boot space and spare part wise and also the proven reliability. It's a Toyota ma. My current car is also fitted with the 4AGE 20v blacktop with 6 speed manual gearbox. It's fun to drive, it's practical (lots of boot space and backspace for passengers and stuff) and I don't have to worry about spare parts. Heck this car never left me stranded on the road and pulls strongly even at almost 300k km mileage.

However my mind always linger on the sweet sweet Mazda lantis and fiat coupe design.. if the lantis couple with kfze V6 engine and the fiat coupe couple with the 2.0litre turcharged engine, I think it will be a very very fun car to drive.

Should I replace my Toyota with the lantis or fiat coupe?
I think my current car is worth around 12k, the lantis with V6 also around 12k and the turbocharged fiat coupe around 30k. This car will be my second car. My main car still kiv first.

Yeah it's old. But the engine and gearbox is reliable. Most problems come from the rubber seals. Will bring it in for restoration if needed.

Be warned with the Coupe. Serious.
I love the car, had one, 5 cars later and I still love it.
But its not for the faint hearted. Be ready with a spare ride and lots of repair bills.

I heard this car is a bit manja. Normal mechanics cannot handle it, need to let fiat specialist service and repair this car or not it will go crazy. Did u service it at normal mechanic or fiat specialist?

Ironically I had my Coupe right after my SEG 101 too ! Long time ago.

There's a few good Coupe in Mudah, so tempting. Its a wonderful car to drive.. when it moves!
Check out the Alfa Romeo, usually people who likes Fiat likes the Alfa, the 159 is still a goodie!

I saw a shiny red one (looked restored) in Bangi just before raya.

Needless to say i needed to change underwear shortly after

Hmm...seems like the SEG is quite a sort after car. A few people did show interest in buying my car, including my technician lol. Even my mechanic wants to buy my car. But I was not really serious in selling it till now. Where do you stay? I prefer people come to test drive it.

A clean black R32. So expensive can buy can't take care. 1 day for sure will own.

A friend wanted to sell to me but problem with pistons white smoke everywhere. Decided not to, too difficult to find even the brake light cover huehueheuheu

Lol maybe I will follow your footsteps. Owning the fiat coupe really a headache? Sounds like it spend more time in the workshop than on the road..

The Alfa 159 looks super sweet though. Dayumm...but it's a bit longish.
