old issue.yes u can.but at ur own risk.u can change either the outer cover or the whole casing.in other word, u can change a black set into a blue set instead.will cost around rm65 for an ap housing excluding service charges.and yes, u can DIY it ursf as well.the only prob is:its a flip hp, u don wana break the ribbons right?and not all ap housing will suit well.take risk and chances.normal probs for housing changed are, ribbon prob, keypad failure, housing tidiness, flip tightness..etc

i consult my fren who repairs hp..he change a z610i before.at the end, the keypad wont work..ribbon prob.the owner of the hp demand a refund and change back to it ori casing..so he wasted his time and energy..so he say:il not do this stupid service for z610i again.

its not about the keypad compatability..its the housing which caused the ribbon to malfunction hence affects the keypad..
