Hello, I recently bought a smart tag and placed at the top right corner of the windscreen. My front windscreen is tinted with Llumar Top 70 too. Somehow my Smart Tag cannot be detected at all and I want to try to reposition it. Will it work if I put it at the middle of the windscreen below the upper black tint?

And also, how do I remove the tag without damaging my tint?

Sorry for the stupid questions sad.gif

my experience (not sure is correct or not but can remove the smarttag)

1. use small knife to put the double sided tape (separate the holder and windscreen)
2. spray some WD40 and slowly remove (it can remove easily)
3. cloth or tissue paper to clean up the mess

PS : u can prepare a big piece of cloth to cover the dashboard. To avoid oil stain when spray WD40

Spray a some sticker remover and let it sit for few minutes. Use a credit card to slice in.

If u want fast, use a thread to cut it. Pull left n right. But after that u need to slowly clean off the mess and find a spare 3m sticker.
I think its not your smartTag, u sure its not the tint film block out too much IR?
